The pineapple filling is generous, and the cookies are well-shaped. Perhaps my taste differs as the filling is a bit too tart for me (very sharp, and can taste the salt), while I also prefer a cookie dough that's more buttery. My perfect rating would be 3.5, but since this is homemade, will give 4 stars.

The refreshing paste gels perfect with the buttery crust. I couldn't resist and only stopped after eating 4 at one go!
